Sustainbility

The Mitcham Primary School Sustainability Program aims to teach our students the importance of caring for our school environment, and wider community responsibilities through conscientious waste recycling, efficient energy use and land care.  Students learn to value our parks, grounds, and gardens through land care activities, and they learn about the impact of their acts for the environment moving forward. 

Our students enjoy hands on care for our grounds and gardens with planting and growing plants in the Maker Space area and other areas of the school.

Recently our Montessori Teaching staff liaised with Nadia Cole, Director at Platylobium about a wonderful donation to Mitcham Primary School.   Nadia has kindly donated;

THRASS Charts
