Student Leadership Training

As part of the Step Up program, Staughton College Student Voice Coordinator, Mr. Elliott Tregonning, held a training session for the 2018 student leaders. He spoke about the school structure, setting standards, students listening to students, permission to be positive and engaged at school and extracurricular opportunities. He also discussed the impact our previous student leaders have had on creating a positive school culture, and challenged next year’s leaders to be brave and positive, as this will also get their fellow students on board. Working with Sport Coordinator, Ms. Danielle Cooke, the students then set their first goal for 2018, which is to prepare for the House Swimming Carnival. Again, we congratulate next year’s student leaders, and wish them well for next year.
