Here you will have access to many resources that can assist you in completing class assignments, research newspapers, etc., and don't forget to check out our New Books  (both Fiction and Non-fiction) available to you in the library - some great reading awaits you!

During March & April, we have supported School initiatives & Special Days, by creating displays to reinforce learning objectives, and for a bit of fun. All books on display are available for borrowing.

ANZAC Day Display 

Celebrating 102 Years since the landing at Anzac Cove – new books & books from our True Stories Collection, plus a display of general stories on the Wars & those that Australians have been involved in, are on display in the Library.

Graphic Novels Display

Our display showcases a collection of new Graphic Novels that have been very popular. Children's graphic novels are written and illustrated in the style of a comic book and sometimes referred to as Manga. Young readers and teens alike are drawn to the mix of illustrations and text format.

Feature Book - LION

Lion  is a 2016 biographical film  based on the non-fiction book  A Long Way Home  by Saroo Brierley with Larry Buttrose.  It is a moving and inspirational true story of survival and triumph against incredible odds, celebrating the importance of never letting go of what drives the human spirit – hope.

Premiers' Reading Challenge

Registrations are underway and the students will soon be given their logins and passwords.  All Yr 7 & 8 students are now participating in Reading in the Classroom using their Reading Trolleys. These books can also be added to their Premiers’ Reading Challenge list.
