Active Through The Arts Program
The 'Active through the Arts' program was run with the EAL withdrawal class every Friday afternoon over 8 weeks.
During the 8 week program, the students worked together to create a music video. Each student had a different role in the making of the video. There were the rappers - who wrote and rapped their own lyrics, the dancers who choreographed their own dance, a camera man, DJ, location manager and director.
The facilitators, Ezeleden and Anuwop, were so professional and knowledgeable within their creative outlets. They were able to form really good rapports with the students and the project wouldn't have been possible without their hard work.
I am so proud of each and every one of these students. The team work and effort it took to make the video was amazing, and the finished product is even better.
Well done to the EAL withdrawal class!
