Roll Up, Roll Up! It is time for the Staughton College Variety Show. The Variety Show is a wonderful celebration of our drama, music, and dance students across all year levels at the college.  We can’t wait to showcase our talented students and invite all family members staff and students to attend.

Name: Melanie Sebire

Production Role: Performer and partial choreographer

What act are you performing in?

I am participating in an act where nine of us are rebelling against the theme.

What have you been doing in the lead up to the big production?

We have been doing rehearsals and sorting out a wide array of costumes.

In your own words, describe the overall theme of this year’s school production.

The theme is based on a carnival full of impressive skills and acts.

What has been your favourite thing about participating in the whole school production?

Probably seeing all the acts improve as they go on. They are all amazing and everyone can’t wait to perform.

What has been challenging or difficult?

Getting everyone up to date at the rehearsals.

What are you most excited about for the production evenings in August?

I’m excited to see how the audiences react to all of the acts. I think they’ll really enjoy it.

What can audiences expect on the night?

A bunch of talented action packed performances that will leave you breathless.
