Art

The Foundation Students started the year in Art, loaded with enthusiasm and excitement. We created the under water mural over the first weeks of school and we will continue this theme for Term 1. We also made some wind socks that sparkle and flow in the wind.

3/4s have enjoyed creating their Self Portraits including giant glass. “What can I see”. I’m discovering some very talented students and look forward to more exciting projects.

Science

Prep Guy's First Science Lesson!

The Prep students enjoyed their first ever Science lesson at BPS last week!

Students got to use magnets & investigate bubbly mixtures.

We also had a cuddle with the lizards of course!

Everyone had a great time &  can't wait to learn lots of new facts and skills in Science this year.

Chicks!

We've had chicks again! Students have enjoyed watching them grow & develop over the past month.

Feel free to drop by to check in on babies: Chirpy, Chubby Cheeks, Charcoal, Popcorn, Nugget, Sonny &, last but not least, Mr Webber Jr!

Swimming

On Thursday the 23rd of February, thirteen students attended Koo Wee Rup Outdoor Swimming Pool to represent our school at the District Swimming Carnival. Everyone did an amazing job. The day was a hit! Thanks to all the parents and teachers for coming to help, and a big thanks to Kris Preston for making sure no one missed their races, and Mr Craig for organising the day and driving the minibus.

Well done to Max Clark for making it through to Division, he attended Division on the 8th of March at Noble Park Aquatic Centre. He did a fantastic job, Coming first in freestyle and 2nd in backstroke. He has now made it through to Regionals on 3rd May in Rosebud. Good luck Max.
