Class Assembly Items ~ Aspects of Student Learning

Caleb - This term in Art Year 1, have been preparing artworks for the Gunnedah Show.

Aleah - The theme for the artwork this year at the show is ‘Country Life’.

Indianah - Inspired by the theme we have created artworks representing gum trees.

Ivy- Gum trees are a staple in the Australian country landscape.

Tyler - To create our artwork we had to collect gum leaves from the school oval.

Claire - Then using a pencil we split our paper into thirds, to divide up the grass and sky.

Dustin - Using a brown oil pastel we drew the outline of our gum tree

Georgie - Then using 4 different coloured oil pastels we added colour to our works.

Archer - After that we used watercolours to paint the background.

Frank - Then with the help of our teachers we told the teachers where we would like our leaves and they hot glued the leaves onto our artworks.

Theresa - We hope you have enjoyed viewing our artworks.

We hope you enjoyed the Year 1 artwork!!
