CELEBRATING OUR FAITH 

Class Masses and Lituries

Last Friday, 4D lead Primary the Mass celebrating the feast of St Patrick. Well done to all the students for their participation.

This Friday 2M will be leading the Infants Liturgy with the theme of saying sorry and having the chance to change our ways and begin again. Families and visitors are welcome to attend 2M's litrugy at Sacred Heart Church which will begin at 9:15am.

Yr 7 & 10 Christian Living Days

Last week, Yr 7 and Yr 10 will participated in their Christian Living Days run by The Young Lasallian team. Students had a great few days focsuing on faith and also what it means to be part of a community and acts of service within our school and wider community.

Staff PD - Storytelling

Last week our K to 6 teachers participated in some Professional Development around Storytelling. Storytelling is a specific way and process used in our Religious Education lessons to tell scripture and liturgical based information to students by using 2D and 3D materials. Staff looked at different storytelling kits specific for their year level to engage with the process.

Project Compassion - Caritas

Our social justice initiative across the school for Term 1 will be a focus on Project Compassion. Students can make donations in class or you can scan the QR Code below. This is linked to our Holy Trinity School Support Page. 

Confirmation - Save the date

The Sacrament of Confirmation will be on Sunday 21 May at the 9:00am Mass. 

A note went out last week to those students in Year 6 who will prepare to recevie the sacrament of Confirmation this year. There will be parent information sessions on Wednesday 26 April at 1:10pm and 6pm to discuss the finer details of the sacrament. If you have any questions prior to this, please let me know.
