There was thunder, there was lightning, there were puddles and there were 

GRAND PARENTS and SPECIAL FRIENDS!

The weather was not on our side but thanks to the flexibility and resilience of our staff, students and visitors, the Grandparents and Special Friends Open Morning was a special occasion.  We received lots of lovely feedback from our visitors and students were very proud to show off their wonderful work and our beautiful school. 

Thank you to everyone who was able to support this special event. 

Literacy Workshop

We are running a Literacy Workshop on Tuesday 28 March from 9-10am.  This is for any P-2 parent who would like some ideas about how to support their child’s literacy learning at home, as well as anyone in P-2 parent who would like to be a helper in the classroom. We will look at reading, writing and oral language development.

When : Tuesday 28 March 

Time : 9-10am

Where : In the PAC

(Please sign in at the office before going to the PAC).

If you have previously completed a Parent Helper session there is no need to attend again, however, if you would like a refresher you are most welcome.  Attendees are not obligated to work in the classrooms but for those interested, helpers in classrooms will begin in Term 2 and class teachers will communicate about this further.
