Year 9 STEM

This week, as part of our Year 9 STEM 'True Crime PBL' unit, students were welcomed into the iCentre where they were introduced to a simulated crime scene.

Working in teams, students will now create crime reports based on the data collected and what they analysed at the scene. The True Crime PBL unit aims to answer the driving question ‘Can we trust forensic science to accurately solve crimes?’ In doing so, the class will gain a deeper understanding of the nature of science and how certain we can be about evidence and the conclusions we draw from them. Good luck to our Year 9 investigators!
