Ms Brea Terris

Dear Families,

It is hard to believe that this will be the second last newsletter of Term One as we near school holidays.

The students as always have been completing some amazing learning. We hope parents enjoy seeing your child's work on Seesaw.

If you are not connected to Seesaw or Sentral please contact your child's classroom teacher to ensure we can support you with this.

As we begin planning for Term Two, there are so many great things happening at SHNPS. All of our year levels will be focussing on Science topics next term.

Out of Uniform Day

This Thursday the 30th March will be an out of uniform day for students. Students can come dressed out of uniform for a gold coin donation.

SHNPS have recently joined the Swan Hill Food Hub and all funds raised will be donated to the hub.

We are also collecting non perishable food for the hub. If you would like to make a donation of food, please leave it at the office and we will ensure it is delivered to the hub.

Thank you for your support of this initiative, it is such an important service for our community.

Website

SHNPS has a new website. Please jump online and have a look at https://www.shnps.vic.edu.au/

We are still updating the website with information, but hope you find it useful.

If you have any feedback on the website please don't hesitate to let me know.

School Council

Congratulations to Belinda O'Halloran, Joshua Rodriguez and Tanya Fox who have all been elected onto School Council. Our first meeting is Wednesday 29th March. The AGM will begin at 5.30pm followed by our normal monthly meeting.

All members of the community are welcome to attend the AGM for the presentation of the annual report. If you would like to attend please RSVP to the office.

Harmony Day and Ride to School

Over the past two fridays we have celebrated Harmony Day and Ride to School Day. All of the students did an amazing job completing a range of activities for both events. Have a look on our social media to see some amazing photos.

End of Term One

Please join us next Thursday for our final assembly for Term One. Assembly will be host to our Easter Hat/Crazy Hair parade and the drawing of the Easter Raffle at 9am.

The day will then finish with an early dismissal at 2.15pm.

Please note there is no assembly this Friday 31st March due to Senior Sport.

NAPLAN

Well done to our Year 3 and 5 students who have recently completed their NAPLAN testing. All the students did an amazing job and demonstrated our school values at all times.

Have a lovely weekend.

Kind regards,
