From the Principal's Desk

FAREWELL YEAR 12

Last Friday, we had the opportunity to give our amazing Year 12 students a fitting farewell. Starting with breakfast, which was catered for by Year 11 students, Year 12 were provided with an opportunity to reflect on 13 years of formal schooling, with the last year like no other Year 12 group has ever experienced before. 

The assembly was a heartfelt emotional experience and our captains, Jack Thomas and Olivia Hogan, summed it up with a variety of school experiences including remote learning due to the  COVID 19 school shutdown and the devastating loss of a dearly beloved teacher, Mrs Hall.

Students had the opportunity to sign each other’s Graduation Bears and have a final chance to catch up with their teachers before they headed off to prepare for their Higher School Certificate Examinations.

Good luck Year 12. You certainly deserve all of the best in your future endeavours as each individual student has confronted their own challenges.

Our Secondary student leaders will be presented at the Morning Assembly next Monday. I am looking forward to working with these students and hope that with their input we can continue to make significant improvements in a variety of aspects of the school.
