Please note that on Monday 2nd November 2020 (School Closure Day on the Monday prior to cup day), Andy's Before and After School care is closed.

Snuggle Up and Read/Book Week Dress Up Day 

Dear families,

Next week we will be celebrating ‘Book Week 2020’. We usually celebrate this event earlier in the year, however, it was postponed across Australia due to COVID19. 

On Wednesday (October 21st), we will be holding our ‘Snuggle Up and Read’ event. On this day, students can choose to bring a blanket/dressing gown so that they can get comfortable whilst reading and enjoying a hot chocolate. 

On Thursday (October 22nd), students may dress up as a book character of their choice. We encourage students to create costumes from things they have at home.

eSmart School

St Columba's officially became an eSmart school, we have been able to gain our status due to our commitment to keeping children safe online and educating  the community about being cybersmart. We will continue working closely with students, parents and our wider community in maintaining a safe environment for all. 

Uniform Sales

Following the recent school uniform survey there are two items that will no longer be offered once the uniform shop is moved off site  - these are the long sleeved polo and windcheater.

We will be selling excess stock of these items at half price  and availability is as follows:

Online Assembly

Today we managed to have our first 'live' assembly since Term 1! Thanks to the magic of technology Thomas and Matilda were able to present, over zoom, live into every classroom in the school. This week we have posted the assembly onto Seesaw for the parents to watch. 

Going forward we will be investigating the possibility of having live assemblies available to the community but until then enjoy watching this weeks assembly on Seesaw!

Intentions 2021

Planning for 2021 is already underway. To assist in this process could you please inform me as soon as possible if your child will not be returning to St Columba’s in 2021.
