Armidale Diocesan Touch Football and Netball Gala Day

Many of our Stage 2 and Stage 3 students represented St Philomena's at the Armidale Diocesan Touch Football and Netball Gala Day. We were fortunate to field four touch football teams and three netball teams. Our students played many of the schools from around our diocese and our students displayed exemplary sportsmanship on and off the field.

Our St Philomena's Blue touch football team won all of their pool games and were announced runners up in the all boys division. Our junior netball team played exceptionally well and were unlucky not to make the final. It was fantastic to see some sport being played around our diocese and we look forward to many more sporting opportunities in the new year. 

Well done to all of our students who made the long trip to Tamworth.
