SENIOR SCHOOL NEWS

Sarah Bridges

Senior Sub-School Manager

It has been pleasing to see students return to onsite learning and be happy to be back with friends and engaging with learning. Whilst most students have transitioned well, we are mindful that some may need additional support and we are using a range of resources to support our students. Please continue to  let us know if you have any concerns.

This week is the last week of formal classes for the class of 2020 and what a year they have had. As a school community we are so proud of each individual student. Despite unprecedented changes in their lives, students have developed stronger friendships, resilience, positivity and adaptability. We are celebrating the last day with a safe morning tea and a lap of honour around the school.

I would like to thank our Student Leadership Team, Ayden Osborne, Angela Peric, Karma Grootveld, Sebastian Milla, Tara Briggs and Hayley Bath, who have been involved in leading assemblies, especially during covid restrictions.

On behalf of the College community I would like to wish our Year 12 students all the best with their interviews/exams and future plans.

Year 12

Students need to ensure they are reading Compass notifications and gmails for updates on exams and other important information.

VCAL- students are reminded to attend the scheduled VCAL interviews. These are a positive way to end school and showcase abilities as well as practise interview techniques.

VCE students are encouraged to meet with teachers for support in the weeks leading up to the exams. The  revision lectures are still continuing and are a great resource.

Graduation is booked for Tuesday, 1 December. Details to be announced after Government announcements on Sunday, 8 November.

Year 11

Camp

Please complete the Year 12 Camp form on Compass. Camp is always a highlight of the year and is a positive way to start Year 12. It focuses on leadership skills, developing friendships and enhancing skills and abilities to achieve our best in the final year of schooling. CSEF can be used to pay for camp.

Year 12 Jumpers

Orders need to be finalised. There will only be one order, so students need to finalise names, sizes and payments.
