INKY AWARD WINNERS

Last week the annual winners of the Inky Awards were announced. The Inky’s are Australia’s only young adult award completely selected by teenagers. The awards are divided into two categories: the Gold Inky for Australian fiction and the Silver Inky for International fiction.

The winner of the 2019 Gold Inky is…..Whisper by Lynette Noni

According to Better Reading:

Recommended for 14+, Whisper is a fast-paced riveting read that any reluctant teen reader would be tempted by. There are lots of twists and turns in Jane’s journey of self-acceptance and search for freedom and as this is the first of a series, there is so much more to come.
