Homework Club

Term 4 is well and truly underway. Students are working hard and assessment pieces are coming in. As usual students can attend Homework Club on Tuesdays and Thursdays at lunchtime if they feel they need some extra time or assistance. Please remind your child of this.

2019 Year 7 Orientation Day

Orientation Day for Year 7 2019 students is on Thursday 15 November. All Year 7 students are not required at school on this day unless they have offered their assistance. At this stage, we have enough students assisting us, so will not require any more. 

Open Evening

A reminder of Open Evening on Tuesday 30 October. While this is generally for prospective families, we would love to see some of our current families out on the night. There will be an Art and Design Exhibition and a Twilight Concert on the night. The Art Exhibition is a wonderful showcase of Prep to Year 12 work; you will be amazed at the calibre of work. The exhibition will run for 4 days.

Student Free Day - 5 & 6 November

A reminder to parents that Monday 5 November is a student free day as is Tuesday 6 November. It is Melbourne Cup weekend. The four day break should provide ample opportunity for students to complete work, do lots of reading and revision. Please do not forget the importance of leisure time though.

Year 8 Grampians Excursion

The Grampians excursion for the Year 8 students is now scheduled to occur on Wednesday 7 November. Hopefully, we will get some of the great weather that Victoria can supply. Students are reminded that they should be in correct Physical Education uniform, however, if it is cold they can wear layers under this. A warm parka/jacket is also allowed if it is too cold.  School tracksuit pants should be worn as a safety measure. The tracksuit pants are an item of uniform and each student should have a pair.
