PE Week & Sports Awards 2018

We had our annual PE Week last week which provided some great activities for our students. The biggest hit was our bubble soccer and the inflatable obstacle course. Students also enjoyed the new game of “spike ball” as well as participating in our traditional game of bat tennis.

PE week finished off with our annual Sports Awards which was held last Friday in the Chapel and Performing Arts Centre. Students who participated in SSV sports throughout the year attended.  Our special guest speaker was Mr Chris Guccione, who enlightened us with a summary of his brilliant International Tennis career and spoke to the students about the hard work that it takes to get to the top. 

Many students received awards for their sporting efforts. We also congratulated our first ever U15 Australian schoolboy champion in high jump, Jack W. An incredible effort for such a young age!
