  1. All Day OSHC – Tuesday the 20th of December from 7:30AM to 6:00PM

Don’t miss out on the fun as, we will be running 2 incursions in our last day of 2022:

  • Circus from 10AM -12PM
  • African Drumming from 2-3PM

Costs: $85 before CCS

Book now through your Xplor Home app, select Student Free Day roll or put a comment “All Day OSHC” if you are unable to select the roll.

  1. Circus Incursions – every Thursday from 4-5PM with Tara and Eric. If your children would like to learn or practice juggling, tricks and acting, you can make a casual booking through Xplor app. 

 

Quality Improvement Plan (QIP):

Standard 4.1 - Staffing arrangements enhance children’s learning and development

Element: 4.1.2      Management, educators and staff work with mutual respect and collaboratively, and challenge and learn from each other, recognising each other’s strengths and skills.

As part of our ongoing training, we focused on the question “what it means to be an educator?”. We collated our responses and displayed them in a poster. You can check out the poster in our program. We felt this embedded our knowledge really well and now have an additional poster on “what is child agency?”. 

 

Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP)

Part of our RAP is to provide a big variety of Indigenous literature in our book corner:

 

 

PROGRAM For week 9 Term 4:

 

(*) a variety of cereals is offered (porridge, corn flakes, weet-bix, rice balls) and a selection of toast (wholemeal bread or fruit toast) with spreads (jam, butter, nuttlex or vegemite) is available every morning

(**) fruit and vegetable platters are offered every afternoon
