Year 7 Excursion to the Army Museum

Yesterday our Year 7's had the opportunity to visit the Army Museum to allow students to get a sense of the history of a significant institution in Australian society - the Australian Defence Forces. We met Dave, Tim and Erin (Angelini), who acted as our tour guides. We got to see everything from hand-held weapons to massive armoured vehicles and tanks. Some of the stories Dave told were amazing, and we got to see so much of the history of the army in one place.

Year 11 Melbourne Camp

Thank you to the Rotary Club of Mount Beauty for subsidising our upcoming Year 11 trip to Melbourne next week.

The Year 11 trip to Melbourne is an important milestone for our senior students here, giving them a 'taste of city life' and an introduction to the opportunities available outside of the Kiewa Valley when they leave school.  

Our Year 11's are looking forward to learning how to navigate their way around the city on public transport, visit universities and colleges, visit The Big Issue, eat and shop and take in the Eureka Skydeck.
