Captains Corner

Welcome to our first Captains Corner for 2023. Introducing our new School Captains: Isaac, Jude, Adrina and Jenna

In this issue, we'd like to introduce ourselves to the DPS community.

Isaac – Hi, my name is Isaac Peluso. I am from 6J and I’m one of the DPS school captains for 2023. Firstly, I would like to share a bit about myself. I do gymnastics, I love footy favourite team is Collingwood Magpies. I like to hang out with my friends and I love going to the beach for a swim and for long walks with my family. I have a sister named Chloe and a cute pet cat named Ferrero. 

I am so delighted to be a 2023 school captain and thrilled to represent our school in a positive way. I look forward to speaking at our assemblies and being able to represent out school with pride when we attend functions. I’m really happy to be in Grade Six and excited to go to Canberra Camp as this will be the first camp I’ve ever attended. If you see me around the school, be sure to come and say hi. 

Adrina - Welcome everybody to a brand-new year at Doncaster Primary School. My name is Adrina from 6M and I am one of the 2023 School Captains. I am very eager to start this year both as a captain and a Year Six student. One of the things I am looking forward to is Canberra Camp. It seems like a great experience and a fun way to spend the week. Assemblies will also be something that I await. In my opinion Grade Six is the best year ever.  All the excursions and fun opportunities, and the best part is that I am a DPS student, that is what matters. Determination Pride and Success! I am very excited to be representing such an amazing school and I hope you have started an exciting education year and continue to be successful throughout 2023.

Jude - Hi, my name is Jude Dabab and I have been selected as one of the four school captains for 2023.  I live in a family of six, my mum, dad, older brother, younger sister, my cat Pluto, and me!  I love sports; I like keeping active, so I play for a footy team and an indoor soccer team. I’m so honored to be representing my school. I have aspired to be a captain ever since prep and I am so proud to have achieved this goal. I am so excited to share my ideas and work alongside my fellow captains. I enjoy working as a team so this is what I look forward to the most.  I also looking forward the Manningham Anzac Day Ceremony.

Jenna - Hello to all students, parents, and teachers of the Doncaster Primary School community. My name is Jenna Wang and I am from 6C. Some of my hobbies are swimming and reading. It is such a huge honour to be able to represent the school in my last year at Doncaster Primary School. I cannot wait to work with the other captains, Jude, Isaac, and Adrina. I enjoy helping others and spending time with friends. I also look forward to Canberra Camp and all the opportunities of being a school captain. I wish everyone a great year ahead.
