International Student News

Welcome To Frankston High School

On Monday 30 January we inducted our new International and exchange students.  It was an exciting time for our program as we were able to welcome so many new students into our school from many different countries.

The students are here for one term, one semester, one year or to complete their VCE studies and all were excited to have this opportunity to have this experience in another country.  Many came to the induction with their families to support them transition into our school.  It is amazing that so many different cultures are able to travel to our school and enrich our International Student Program.

The countries represented were:

UK, Japan, Austria, Vietnam, Italy, Cambodia, China, Germany, Denmark, India, and two the students are from our sister school in Japan - Fukuoka Daiichi High School.

I know our local students and families will help to welcome them into our school.

If you are interested in being a homestay please contact Sharon Koning at our school to learn more about this program.

We also welcome our new International Student Director, Assistant Principal, Ms Sue Simadri.
