A message from our Principal

Dear Parents, 

Mini-Fete

Our Year 6 Mini Fete will be held tomorrow, Friday 27th November. This year it will be a little different with a reduced range of activities due to COVID-19 restrictions and COVID safe plans put in place to ensure the safety of children and staff. I have been really impressed with the enthusiasm, creativity, and maturity that our Year 6 children have demonstrated in planning and organising the day. All children K-6 may wear Mufti clothes on the day; however, enclosed shoes and their school hat are essential. Students should not wear sleeveless shirts, please.

Year 6 Orientation Day

Year 6 students will have their high school orientation day on Wednesday 2nd December. 

Transport to and from the campuses will be the responsibility of families.  

The organisation for the day is very similar for each campus.

Students are to meet at the gym at 9:30 am to commence the day's activities.

A barbeque lunch, drink and iceblock are provided. 

Students need to take a water bottle, morning tea and a pen.

The day will conclude at 2:30 pm.

Presentation Day

This year's Presentation Day will take place, Tuesday 8th December in the McMullen Hall. There will be three separate ceremonies spread out throughout the day, commencing at:

9:30 - Early Stage 1 and Stage 1

10:30 - Stage 2

12:15 - Stage 3.

All ceremonies will be live-streamed and available for you to access. We will provide you with details of how to access the link next week.

Year 6 Farewell

On Tuesday 8th November, our Year 6 Farewell dinner will take place at the Bathurst Panthers. Our Year 6 group of students have been extraordinary. Their last year of primary school has been unlike any other, with many of the usual Year 6 opportunities unable to occur. Despite this, these students have continued to lead the school by example, bringing enthusiasm and a positive attitude to school each day. 

The Year 6 Farewell will be a celebration of their time at Bathurst Public School and a night to remember.

Notes and money are due to the office by Monday 30th November.
