Parents' Association

The Parents’ Association’s funding of Sustainable Schools Shop registration for all John XXIII College families has already been a great success and many families are using this free resource to source secondhand uniforms and text books. The John XXIII 2021 booklists have been uploaded this week and are ready to use.

Now is the best time to be listing second-hand textbooks for sale as other families have started looking to buy.

Register on the Sustainable School Shop website at http://www.sustainableschoolshop.com.au and nominate John XXIII College.

Call 1300 683 337 if you need help with your registration.

Tips for buying and selling second-hand textbooks

  • Get your textbooks home early and list them for sale,
  • Place in your ad the date which your book is no longer needed.
  • For the books you are selling, there is a pricing guide in the service.
  • Delist your For Sale Ads as your textbooks sell.

List Wanted Ads via the Find Books button for the books you need - this ensures the correct textbooks are found and is the easiest way for finding books. You will receive a notification when an item matching your wanted Ad is listed - which gives you priority over casual browsers. Telephone or SMS sellers, rather than email as many people don't regularly read their emails.

We hope you enjoy using the service and we welcome any feedback on parents.association@johnxxiii.edu.au
