Year 11 Advisers' Report

Year 11

Well, we made it!  What a year it's been for all of us - particularly the Year 11 students.  They have had to establish themselves as senior students under very difficult circumstances and worked very hard on assessment tasks right up to the last day of school!  Well done!

Students are now one quarter of the way through their senior courses with only three terms of school remaining, and I can assure them it will fly by.

As leaders of the student body Year 11 have already acquitted themselves very well and I would encourage them to maintain their high level of attendance, work ethic, uniform and general behaviour around the school.  They are now the role models for junior students, very ably led by School Captains, Imogen and Brandon, Vice Captains, Claire and Caitlyn and the Prefects, Charlotte, Bridie, David and Eloise. Their involvement in activities such as RUOK Day, SRC Secret Santa and White Ribbon Day are great examples of their engagement and leadership in the school.

Hopefully next year will see a return to many activities that round out school life and I know, as Year 12 students they will be able to create fantastic memories to take away with them; involvement in sporting teams, carnivals and excursions - just to name a few.

The first activity is the Year 12 Camp.  I am so excited and looking forward to camp and I know the students are as well – it's a great way to start the year as well as important in fulfilling Life Ready requirements the students must complete.

The Year 12 - Class of 2021 Facebook page is now up and running so please ensure your student completes the permission note and joins.  It is an excellent way for us to communicate and share photos and experiences.

I hope have a very Merry Xmas and a happy and relaxed holiday – ready to start the final leg!
