~ Do all that you do with love ~

Dear Parents and Friends of St Therese's Primary School,

Walking through the door this morning filled me with many different emotions, I was nervous, excited and proud to name but a few. It's going to take a little while for me to get my bearings and settle in but the staff have been so welcoming. Some might say it's a little bit unfair making the new girl do yard duty before school on her first day, but it was so lovely to be outside, meeting and greeting the children. So many came up for a chat or a quick hello, I can't wait to get to know them all and be able to remember their names too. Hopefully the children will be able to share a little of what they have learnt about me when they come home this week, I did sneak around the classrooms over the weekend to share a letter for them to read this morning.

I look forward to meeting you, the parents and friends of our community as well. If you see me out on the playground or walking through the school, please stop and say hello! It is important for me to get to know all of you as well as the children.

I feel very humbled to be entrusted with the role of Principal at St Therese's.  For now, I'd like to leave you with a small prayer, a prayer for a new beginning.

Thank you Lord, for your new beginnings. I trust that your peace will watch over us as we step into this new beginning together. Help me lean on you with all my heart instead of relying solely on my own understanding. Give me the confidence and wisdom to follow you as you guide me. Amen
