Principal's Report

Term 2

As we enter the colder winter months and approach the the mid-year holidays, I thank our students for their persistence and resilience. As communicated in an earlier newsletter, there have been frequent student and staff absences due to COVID19 and illness which have impacted upon the daily routines of schooling. To assist with communication, please remember when emailing your child’s teacher to ‘cc’ in the section leaders so they can reply to you if your child’s teacher is absent.

The date for the commencement of the building works at the Bundoora Campus has been confirmed as Tuesday 5th July which is in the second week of the school holidays. Just to reiterate the Compass post from earlier this week, when the works commence there will be a reduction in available car parking and at times there will be large vehicles moving in and out of the site.

To alleviate the car parking issues, we will be introducing a morning drop off on the front driveway between 8.30-8.40am. The cut-off at 8.40am will be strict as the buses will enter from that time. We encourage you to drive to the main gate at the front of the school and drop your child off. There will be staff waiting to assist your child and provide supervision. This morning drop off process will commence next Monday 20th of June.

The current afternoon pick up process will continue between 3.10—3.20pm.

We encourage you to take advantage of these options.

Please note the map below that shows the available car parking around the campus including time periods if applicable.
