The Fathering Project

Dear Parents and Carers,

We are excited to have started a partnership with The Fathering Project which is Australia’s leading initiative for dads and father figures. The Fathering Project school program is designed to engage fathers and father figures so children thrive academically, socially, physically, spiritually and emotionally.

In our work this year to improve parental engagement in learning, we believe an authentic school-family partnership needs the input and involvement of our dads and father figures.

We will be hosting various dads events, or dads and kids events, across the next 6 months. These activities will give students a greater opportunity to connect with the men that matter in their lives to support their growth at school.

Dads, We Need You!

Dads who are interested in participating in any of the events, want to play an active role in their child's school life, and meet other dads, please fill out the Google form here

Not sure! Got some questions?

Please don’t hesitate to contact Sam Matthews (Year 6 teacher and great dad) via the office if you have any questions.

Thank you to Benn Lim for initiating this project and to Sam Matthews who will be coordinating the Fathering Project at St Joseph's with Benn.

For all things at St Joseph's, give thanks!
