VCAL Community Project – Pantry 5000

The Year 11 VCAL students are running a food drive to help support a fantastic local charity Pantry 5000. Pantry 5000 are a volunteer organization that is helping people who have food insecurities, that is a condition of limited or uncertain access to adequate food. Each week they help around 200 families ensure there is enough to eat and last year Pantry 5000 provided $750000 worth of food relief to our local community. The Year 11 students are asking for donations of any non-perishable foods, but in particular any of the following items:

Pasta/pasta sauce, rice, UHT milk, cereals.

Donations can be placed in the collection bins at the front of the school or at the Year 7 coordinator’s office.
