Dear Families –

OPA! It’s only two more days til our social /fundraising  event ! What an AMAZING response from the community with 139 people attending! Wow!

A BIG SHOUT OUT to the Preps and Grade 1 who show the best attendance – what a social bunch! The future of St. Bede’s is in good hands !

It’s going to be a fabulous night! We’ve been working hard behind the scenes with lots of laughs, making the night as memorable and fun as possible! It’s going to be FABULOUS!

There’s been lots of questions asked about the night so we thought we’d send a Q&A –

What time do I need to be there ?

6.30pm start! You will be able to smell the gyro !  YUM! Allow yourself some time to look at all the prizes.

Please note the only access is from office side- not church side !

What do I wear ? Is it a dress up ?

You can wear WHATEVER you like! Want to wear a ballgown? – YES GO FOR IT ! Want to dress up in Greek colours ?- YES GO FOR IT! Want to wear a Greek national costume- YES!

It’s a casual event.

WHAT FOOD DO I BRING ?

Your ticket includes a souvlaki and dessert.  Bring along snacks, antipasti, fruit, dips- whatever takes your fancy! BYO cutlery.  ( Surely you’ll pack some ouzo and octopus?)

WHAT DRiNKS DO I BRING ?

Only Water will be supplied.  Bring your eskies filled with BYO drinks. BYO coffee/tea, BYO cups.

DO I REALLY NEED MONEY ?

This is a fundraising event. YES YES YES! -There will be some games you will need to “buy in" with gold coins- or feel free to drop any notes into the jar –the GREEN ONES ARE OUR FAVOURITE COLOUR! 

DON’T Forget there is a raffle to buy tickets $5 each or 5 for $20!

PRIZES??

YES YES YES there are lots of prizes.  There are silent auctions, LIVE AUCTIONS and raffles! We will have an eftpos machine available for the silent and live auctions. Good luck!

DO I NEED A MASK ?

There is no requirement. You can choose yes or no!

CAN I HELP ?

Yes !  If you have anytime on Friday to help set up , please contact Catherine (0412 823 076)- even if it’s only 1 hr – you’ll be surprised what can be achieved!

We can’t wait to see you all and we hope to raise lots of money for the new playground that is already in the pipelines !
