THE UNIVERSITY OF ADELAIDE

2023 ENTRY SUBMISSION PROCESS

Follow the steps below to ensure you are eligible to gain entry via the Year 11 Entry Pathway.

  1. Students wishing to apply for this entry pathway must submit their personal details via the online portal. The portal will open on Monday, August 1, 2022 and close at 5:00pm Tuesday, August 23, 2022.
  2. Students will also need to lodge their SATAC application - with an eligible University of Adelaide degree in their preference list - by 5:00pm Tuesday, August 23,  2022. Students can view degree eligibility criteria on the website or contact the University of Adelaide team for help. Note: We will assess their highest eligible University of Adelaide preference as at 5:00pm Tuesday, August 23 under this pathway.

AUSTRALIAN CATHOLIC UNIVERSITY

WHAT IS STEP UP INTO TEACHING?

SUIT is an Australian Catholic University (ACU) early entry program run in collaboration with the Catholic Education Diocese of Parramatta (CEDP) and Sydney Catholic Schools (SCS). It provides high school students considering a career in teaching the opportunity to experience learning in a university environment. In the 2022–2023 SUIT program, secondary school students participating in SUIT will have the opportunity to study one or two modules equivalent to university level units while completing their school studies.

 

PROGRAM DELIVERY

The SUIT program is delivered by ACU academics on the beautiful Strathfield campus to give you that real feel of university. Our Academic Skills Unit will also be on hand for additional support if you need it.

  • Classes are held during school holidays
  • The program will be held in September 2022 and January 2023
  • Each subject requires seven days on campus attendance plus some online activity
  • On campus attendance each day is mandatory.

LA TROBE UNIVERSITY

RURALITY FORM FOR THE BACHELOR OF BIOMEDICAL SCIENCE (MEDICAL)

The Bachelor of Biomedical Science (Medical) is La Trobe’s guaranteed rural pathway into medicine. To be considered for the Multiple Mini Interviews (MMI) that are conducted as part of the selection process for this course, students are required to complete a Rurality Form in support of their application. 

 

Students must provide their personal details, evidence of their rural status, and a personal statement in support of their application. Please note: you cannot save a draft while working on it so be sure to complete the form in one session. 

 

The Rurality Form is open now and all supporting documentation and statements must be submitted no later than 5:00pm AEDT Friday 2 December 2022.
