In Mindfulness, we focused on the topic of Savouring. 

Prep students explored the sense of taste and practised mindful eating. They drew their favourite meal, talked about why they enjoy the meal and how they can savour what they eat.

Respectful Relationships

In Resilience, Rights and Respectful Relationships, the Preps are focussing on the topic of Positive Coping. 

Prep students participated in activities that could help them relax and feel calm when they are feeling tired, worried, angry or sad. These activities included Balloon Breathing and The Listening Game. For this game students practised listening to sounds that were up close and sounds that were far away. They scrunched up their fingers, toes and arms and then relaxed these parts of their bodies.
