Grade 5/6

The Grade 5/6 classes enjoyed a very brisk and early start to their coach journey to Canberra on Monday morning.

On the way, there was the obligatory stop in Holbrook to see the inland submarine.

So far, our travellers visited the summit of Mt. Ainslie. From this vantage point, students were able to see Canberra landmarks, from the War Memorial to Parliament House.

Everyone enjoyed a very active visit to the AIS. Here are some photos of some of the sports experiences on offer. Hopefully, this has inspired students to explore different  sports and who knows, we may have some budding future Commonwealth Games competitors.

Today, students visited and learned about what happens in the High Court of Australia. This court is the highest court in Australia and decides on significant federal court cases and challenges, including constitutional laws and appeals.
