From the Principal

So, after needing to extend our family holiday just a little, I am back at school and it was so nice to see the smiling faces of the students as I went around to all classrooms this morning.

Our Grade 5/6 students headed off to Canberra yesterday. Reports so far are that they have arrived safely and are having a lovely time (see the Grade 5/6 page for photos). Parents, we will send out a Xuno message on Friday to let you know the approximate return time for the bus, however, it is normally between 6.00pm and 7.00pm. 

I would just like to remind parents that we encourage all families to sign up to the new school based app XUNO. This app will become our major form of notification, newsletters, forms and school reports etc. and we will be phasing out our Facebook notifications, printed notes and school text messages. If you are having issues signing into your app, please let me know what the major issues are and I will endeavour to follow this up with the company.

Our next School Council meeting is this coming Tuesday. We are still looking for a couple more parent members, so if you are interested, please come and see me. Also, Billie Graham (President), Mark Hutchings (Vice President) and Cassy Viney (Treasurer) would be more than happy to also speak to you.
