World's Greatest Shave - Show your support!
Friday, 19 August marks the day in which 13 brave Year 12 students along with a courageous group of teachers, including all Head of Years, will be sacrificing their luscious locks to the Leukaemia Foundation's World’s Greatest Shave. With a goal of $30,000, the boys are looking to do everything they can to assist this great foundation.
Not only do all proceeds go to further research and care for patients of blood/lymphoma related diseases, but it also assists in further access to treatment.
Funds also contribute to the Australian Governments Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme, which allows drugs like Calquence®, which might otherwise cost more than $140,000 per course of treatment, be accessible for only $41 per script.
So if you are willing and able to, please support the staff of TC and the boys in their endeavours by donating at the link below!

India Fun Run
Friday, 19 August
Every year we renew our commitment to providing food, shelter, health care and education for some of the poorest people of India. Our major fundraiser for this work is the India Fun Run.
All students are participants in the Trinity College Fun Run for India and expected to contribute to support projects in India.
Donations of $30 or more are requested. Students should collect sponsors for the Fun Run so they make a contribution to this Fun Run through their own efforts. Sponsorship Forms are available from PCG teachers.
All money raised should then be paid through the online store. Please make payment before or on the day of Fun Run via the button below
All money raised goes to support people who are most in need through projects we have been supporting for over 30 years; MITHRA school and home for children with disabilities, JAGRUTI HIGH SCHOOL educating children from outcast tribal families, CHRISTIAN BROTHERS charitable work with the poor of Kolkata including specific outreach to homeless people in Kolkata train stations.
Thank you for your generosity in supporting India Fun Run 2022.
Prefect Perspectives
The first week of August brought us consistent rain and miserable weather. Despite the rising waters across Mann Oval, the Causeway entrance to the school and in front of the Rowing Shed, the business of the school kept running as normal and the boys continued to persevere through the storm.
It was Maths week across the College and Mr Presser kept us counting and entertained with the daily mathematician of the day. Maybe one day, a TC Student will make the list!
Today the Trinity Prefects will take on the Mercedes Prefects in the annual McGrath Netball Cup. On paper it’s a tight match up – our star players Jett O’Rourke and Lachie Spencer were out with injuries – and the Mercedes team have been in training the whole term. The anticipation has been building all week, but the TC Prefects 2022 will go in confident looking forward to bringing home the silverware!
This week also marked the final time we, as Year 12s would come together to celebrate Mass in the Chapel. Many parents and grandparents were in attendance for the last time – recognising how significant this moment was in a journey that for some of us started back in 2014. I am not sure that our singing has got any better, but at least we had finally learnt all the hymns.
It’s the start of many milestone moments for the Class of 2022 as it nears closer to the end of our Trinity journey. On Saturday, the Hale sports fixture will be the last time most of the Year 12 cohort will pull on the blue and green. The sporting pillar has given us some of our greatest memories and opportunities to live the Trinity spirit and I wish all the boys who play for the final time this weekend all the very best of luck and a win for the ages.
I extend my best wishes to all the College as we head into mid-term tests. These will no doubt cause stress and anxiety for many, but I encourage everyone to stay resilient, persevere and just do their best.
