OSHC

Wominjeka Everyone,

Our OSHC team is excited to announce that our outings to the Jacob’s Reserve for the Middle and Senior Students will reassume next term!

Excursions:

When:  every Thursday from 3:45-4:45PM

Where: Jacob’s Reserve

If parents/carers would like to collect their children between 3:45-4:45PM they need to collect them from the Jacob’s reserve.

A risk management plan has been developed and it will be emailed out sometimes in the next couple of weeks before Term 1 finishes.

This is only if your emergency contact has already an account with us.

FROM THE PROGRAM:

Apple turnovers have been again very popular this week – Students have been really keen to have their turn in cooking club and we will try to make sure that every child can have a go before the end of this term!

Clay was has been a big success as well as the sand pit with our loose spare parts!

We are always on the lookout for old pots, pans and kitchen utensils to add to our spare parts catalogue.

Sewing club has been helping students make scrunchies and bags. Students are getting more comfortable using the sewing machine by themselves (with supervision.)

We also tested out a more formal Gymnastics/Dance club on Monday, continuing on from some of the circus skills the students are learning at school!

Reminders:

Xplor Home Account for both parents:

Just to clarify that both parents, on the same account, can have access to the app, with different emails.

We have noticed that there are few parents who have set up the app, but not their partners.

If your partner hasn’t set up their account, please send an email to Bernadetta with their email address and they will be guided how to set up their app.

Finance Account:

Only parent 1 can have access to the finance account on their app and make payments.

If you struggle to access to finance tab in your app, please contact Bernadetta.

Change in permanent bookings:

If you need to make any changes in your bookings, you will need to contact Bernadetta on oshc.brunswick.nw.ps@education.vic.gov.au with your request, as Xplor will not allow you to make any changes in your bookings.

To claim your CCS (Child Care Subsidy) you must:

1. Sign your Complying Written Agreement (CWA) on your XPLOR HOME app: go to accounts/finance

2. Confirm your enrolment with BNW OSHC through Centrelink or myGov.au

Please note if your child hasn’t attended for the last 12 months, Centrelink will automatically cease your enrolment.

Learning Feature on the Xplor Home app:

As you may have realized the Home app will allow us to share learning observation of your child through the app.
