College Choir

Mr Michael Perryman and the Arts & Engagement Team

The College Choir is back! But we need your help...

A Choir is a LARGE group of people who come together to sing as a means of creative expression, and fun. So yes, this is singing-based, and all year levels are invited to be involved. No experience necessary, woo!

I will be leading the team as Choral Director; but am looking for students to join who can display high quality behaviours that will contribute to a fun, safe, and supportive environment for all involved. This email is for you to register your interest in being part of the team!

See below for more details:

What do I do if I'm interested?

Reply to Mr. Perryman (mperryman@sjrc.vic.edu.au) and bring him or your Learning Mentor a signed College Choir Notification Letter from home.

What kind of stuff will we perform?

Our first major piece is a great arrangement of "Fireflies" by Owl City. We will sing material from a diverse range of sources, mainly popular stuff (think pop/musical theatre/RnB etc). Some stuff will be modern, some traditional. Some well-known, and not so well-known. Some English speaking, some other languages and so on. The more diverse the better.

P.S. STELLA nominations for being (and staying) in the College Choir! 😎
