School Captains

Our April newsletter allows us to introduce you to Rafael Garcia, School Captain for 2021

It is a privilege to be one of the School Captains at Reservoir High School in 2021. I started at the school in Year 8, and have always been interested in leadership since I was in primary school and I was on the Junior School Council.  I have dreamt of being the school captain at Reservoir High since I started here. 

Some of my interests are writing, as I love to make stories with words. I also like photography, I like to capture the world around me and see how the camera captures the colours of the world. Finally, I enjoy also gardening as I can work on my attention to detail and on something that is good for exercise. 

Once I leave high school my dream is to study creative writing at university and to eventually become a writer, to publish lots of books and inspire the written word in the way I see the world.
