Old Saint, Bryce Auld nominated Young Australian Citizen of the Year 2021

Congratulations to Bryce Auld, Graduating class of 2020, who was nominated for Young Centralian Citizen of the Year this year. This award is given to a person who has made a noteworthy contribution in the current year, or given outstanding service over a number of years, to their community. Congratulations on the nomination Bryce!

Youth Climate Forum

 

If you’re aged 12‑25 years and keen to be a champion for our planet, join the Youth Climate Forum and become a Planeteer! Launching Sunday, 18 April – 11am-2pm, @ Witchetty’s, Araluen Arts Centre and facilitated by Arid Lands Environment Centre – this is the first in a series of workshops on climate knowledge, skills & action.

Two of our students, Luke Haywood and Jett Egan started a business venture “J&L Gardening” as part of a school project for their Personal Learning Program whilst completing their Year 10 studies. J&L Gardening offers low-cost service and knowledge of garden maintenance and design. 

 

We are so proud to announce they are currently in the running for The  NT Young Achiever Award for People’s Choice.
