Anzac Day 2021

On Sunday, April 25 2021, Australians and New Zealanders, both at home and overseas, will stop to commemorate ANZAC Day. A day of national and international significance that gives us all the opportunity to pause and reflect on the service and sacrifice of those who have served in defence of our nation, and those who continue to serve today.

As a community, we will be celebrating this significant event tomorrow at 9am on the grassed area (weather dependent) led by some of our Senior students. We ask that students bring a flower or two if possible to school for this prayer service (from your garden). These will be laid at the base of the flagpole and then made into a bouquet which will be delivered to the local RSL on behalf of the St Brigid’s community. Families are warmly invited to join us (using the QR code at the gate). Please note If the weather is inclement we will need to adjourn to the Hall and due to the ongoing restrictions of numbers, families will not be able to attend.

We will also be selling items as part of the Poppy Appeal. These items range from $1 to $5.

Looking forward to celebrating this significant event as a community.
