Junior School Report

The Junior School has been very productive over the last few weeks since the return from Remote Learning. Once again, the students performed well online and attended their classes well. We are very proud of their application to their lessons and the smooth transition back to classes onsite.
Digital Thumb Print
Our Year 7 and 8 students will participate in this great Program brought to us by Optus in September Term 3. Students will be taught how to be aware of their online presence and keeping passwords safe.
Sport
We have had several students who represented the school in Sport over the last few weeks. We had a great representation in Junior Badminton. Thank you to Mr Lac for all the training and supporting these students to get into the regional tournament in Term 3. We had students represent the junior school in AFL and demonstrated great sportsmanship and their skills were amazing. It is wonderful to see so many students willing to participate in representative sports.
Year 7 and 8 Camps
Home group Camps will continue in term 3 for Junior classes. Please ensure you return your permission notes and payment to securer your place on the camp.
Be Prepared
A reminder that students will need to be warm for winter with full school uniform. Please see your coordinators if you need assistance with uniform. Please ensure you have all your equipment ready for Term 3 and that you are on time to school and to your classes. We value Punctuality at St Albans secondary College. Learning time is valuable and avoiding disruptions is important.
Enjoy the Holidays
We hope all students and families enjoy the Term 2 holidays. Have a restful break and we look forward to seeing you all back next term.
