MAC 2021

We are now well underway for our production of a Midsummer Night’s Dream to be held on 2nd - 5th of August. This is an adaptation of William Shakespeare’s famous play. It has romance, comedy, singing, dancing and most of all magic! Despite the two week lockdown, rehearsals were held via google meet and the cast did an excellent job adjusting to the new rehearsal environment. We will be putting in additional rehearsals during the holidays to make up for some lost time, but everything is on track for a delightful show. Tickets will be available by the end of Term.
We are also looking forward to a ‘one night only’ celebration of MAC over the last 50 years. This was scheduled for 2020 but due to the extended lockdown had to be postponed. This will be part of our ARTS Expo opening on the 19th July. Opening our expo will be Sharron Meissner, a member of our alumni who graduated in 1972 and now works for her own production company representing performing artists. The night will be a celebration of the significant role MAC has played in the school community over the past 50 years and will bring current and past MAC members together. Make sure you book for this event as we have limited tickets available.
