School Dental Program

In the 2019-20 State Budget, the Victorian Government announced $321.9 million in funding over four years for the Smile Squad school dental program.

We have been able to access the Smile Squad School Dental program for our school.

The plan is that the van will be at our school from 2 June 2021 to 11 June 2021.

Information on the program can be found at the link below.

Permission notes for your child to access this program will be sent home within the next two weeks.

School RAP Plan

We will holding an action group meeting in week 9 of this term to create an outline of how we will progress with the creation of our school Reconciliation Plan.

Details of the action group meeting will be in next weeks newsletter. Please contact Sonya if you are interested in joining the RAP action group.

This process began last year but unfortunately had to put it on hold due to the situation we all found ourselves in.

A Reconciliation Action Plan is:

"RAPs are a powerful tool for advancing reconciliation in Australia. By developing a RAP, your workplace will join a community of over 1,000 dedicated corporate, government, and civil society organisations that have formally committed to reconciliation through the RAP framework since 2006. RAPs provide a structured, nationally recognised, tried and tested model for workplaces to formalise commitments to reconciliation. RAPs help to foster a community of shared value, goals and a common language when it comes to reconciliation. Developing a RAP through Reconciliation Australia’s endorsement process provides your workplace permission to use the nationally recognised RAP logo that demonstrates compliance with the RAP framework and standards."
