Principal's Message

Dear Parents and Carers,

Welcome to Term 2. We trust your child/children have settled back into school after the school holidays.

We have had a fantastic start to the term, with lots of activities taking place. The Grade 3 and 4 students have been attending intensive swimming lessons each day, a group of students took part in the District Cross Country event yesterday at Princes Park and many of our classes have been continuing to participate in incursions and excursions.

Last night we held a Community Engagement Event at school. Thank you to the parents who gave up their time and contributed some great ideas about how we can create community connections and fundraising opportunities for CHPS.

At today's Grade 3-6 assembly, we welcomed local Elder Uncle Ron to deliver our Welcome to Country:

Orlando, Luca, Uncle Ron, Minnie and Millie

Just a reminder that this Monday (May 3rd) is a student-free Curriculum Day.

Enjoy the sunny weekend and we look forward to seeing the students back at school on Tuesday.

Kind regards,

Megan
