Ebooks for the holidays?

Going away for the holidays? Maybe read “everything” in the Library? You might find it convenient to download a couple of free ebooks to your phone, tablet, eReader or laptop.

If you already use some kind of reader software for ebooks – great! Otherwise you may need a one-off download of reader software (such as Adobe Reader) to get started. Nb/ setting up an Adobe ID account will let you download the same eBook onto up to 6 different devices.

Titles automatically expire after 3 weeks, which is handy for forgetful/busy patrons. There is also a feature on the ePlatform that allows you to “return” early, giving others a chance to borrow that title and you the ability to borrow something new.

Step 1  -  from the Daymap Home page click on “Wantrina Library” [here highlighted in blue]

Step 2. From the Wantirna College Library page [check it out!] click on  Our eBooks

Step 3. Sign in using your regular student ID and password

Step 4.  Start searching 

Step 5. Click on the picture of one you like then borrow

Step 6.  Click on “Read” or download and ENJOY!

*By the way if you want to access videos from our catalogue to watch over the holidays please do not forget to Log in properly i.e Menu > green Login > SAML Login > regular student ID and password.

Nb/ the same goes if you prefer accessing eBooks through the catalogue.
