50 Year Anniversary of Our State Orchestra.  Orchestra Victoria mOVe!

Students from across the Western District have been completely immersed in the mOVe! orchestral program at the Kantor Family Music and Performing Arts Centre.  Under the energetic baton of Maestro Dominic Harvey, who returns to Hamilton as conductor, the students have worked through great repertoire from the pillars of Western Art music to pop music greats and musicals about Hamilton.  The intensive rehearsals both as a full orchestra and in sections catapulted the musicians from Day 1 through to the concert Day 3.  Once again, a fantastic program offering the full orchestral experience to students from across the Western District learning and playing alongside Victoria’s 50 Year Old Professional orchestra.
