Year 7 excursion to La Trobe

The Year 7 Cohort was given the opportunity this week to see what life is like as a Latrobe University Student. For the majority of the students this was the first time they have stepped foot into any university and they were given the chance to meet ‘Uni Buddies’ and hear their background stories, academic success and future ambitions. Our students were given the advice of thinking ahead regarding their career goals and focusing on aspects of their life that they enjoy. Students activities on the day included playing games, dressing up in University cloaks and participating in La Trobe’s Amazing Race.
