2020 ICAS Parent Nominations (Year 5-Year 12)

The ICAS Competition is a series of nationally administered test papers. In previous years, teachers have nominated gifted and talented students to sit the University of NSW ICAS Tests. BHCS has been blessed over this time in achieving some fantastic results – particularly last year where students achieved multiple High Distinctions and even a prestigious gold medal for Writing.

Living in our current online world has meant some changes in the way that we do things. Mrs Boyle and myself have been busy organising ICAS tests for later in the year – how fantastic that this sort of thing can continue even though we can’t meet up face to face!

Like last year – in addition to teacher nominations – we are opening a limited number of nominations to parents who think that their child would enjoy the challenge of sitting the tests. So if you feel that your child is particularly gifted in the area of English, Spelling, Writing, Science and/or Mathematics, please email Mr Dickson – adickson@bhcs.vic.edu.au.
