Overlay

Every Friday morning, Year 10 students meet in House groups to take part in the Overlay program. In Semester 1, the purpose of the program is to allow structured exploration of the various pathways programs available to students, and provide them with opportunities to develop their skills and knowledge to broaden their pathways options.

In Semester 2, the purpose of the program shifts to focus on beginning to prepare students for the transition in to the Senior School at Viewbank. In particular this will focus on structures and policies within the Senior School, as well as developing learning behaviours that will allow students to experience success in the Senior Secondary course.

Students are expected to be punctual for each session and participate in all activities to the best of their ability. Students are expected to take an active role in exploring the various pathways options available to them and engage with the Middle School Head of House and Senior School House Leader, both who are assigned to this program.
