Year 10 Business Economics 

Our students learnt about the Gig economy and explored what it like to be an uber driver.  

Through playing the game the students had opportunities to learn about and experience key economic concepts of Demand and Supply, need and wants, Opportunity cost, Scarcity, consumer, good and service, Work life Balance, and measurable and non-measurable indicators.  

Students enjoyed the game it proved to be a great introduction to the economic concepts we will study this term.  

 

Year 10 Dollars and Sense 

Students in Year 10 Dollars and Sense were playing Monopoly this week to explore how they made economic decisions.  

 

Students learnt about different economic principles including supply and demand, the barter system, mortgages, the cost of borrowing, and limited resource.  

Year 8J Geography

Students in Year 8J Geography Learnt about plate tectonics and the creation of landforms. 

All students participated and learnt the Kung Fu Tectonic plate boundaries movements, performed to the music of Kung Fu Panda!  Well done 8J
